Em M. Pijl, PhD, RN (Co-Investigator)

Dr. Em Pijl is a registered nurse originally from Vancouver, BC, where she worked with a marginalized inner city population and with seniors. Dr. Pijl has been teaching at the University of Lethbridge since 2007, and her research interests include health services for marginalized patient populations and moral distress in clinical practice. In her spare time, Dr. Pijl enjoys a variety of shooting sports but is a preferred vegetarian.
